Matchup is the battle mode in which the BEAST rank is determined according to the number of BEAST Stamina consumed = the number of “BEAST” victories.
Therefore, players' evaluation is based on how much BEAST Stamina they have contributed to the matchup battle, and the ranking is determined according to the amount of BEAST Stamina consumed by his or her BEAST.
In addition to running their own battles and consuming BEAST Stamina, they can also “let other players run battles for them” in order to achieve higher rankings, which is a major feature of Match-Up that is not found in other games.
Matchup consists of two game modes: "Normal Battle" and "Rental Battle."
BEAST acquired through Jewel-consuming gachas can be put into BEAST plants, allowing other players to perform BEAST stamina consumption in rental battles instead. (*Click here for more information on BEAST Plants)
BEAST Stamina consumed by a BEAST offered for a rental battle is counted as the owner's consumption, allowing the owner to efficiently earn BEAST Stamina consumption.
In many cases, players who engage in Rental Battles do not have any BEAST Stamina left in their own quota, so they first earn BEAST Gacha PT through Rental Battles.
Then, with the BEAST(Stamina 10) obtained there, players can play normal battles and get scores, thus continuing the game without purchasing Jewels.
Rental Battles are not initially released and will be released upon completion of tutorial missions and other conditions.
Daily usage conditions are also restricted, triggered by “20 stamina consumed” in daily missions, to prevent bots and other cheaters.
The criteria for evaluating Matchup is as follows:
When a BEAST wins a battle in which it participates, one BEAST Stamina is consumed and an amount equal to the consumed Stamina is added to the Matchup Score.
The MatchUp Score will be added to the “owner” of the PROXY BEAST whose Stamina was consumed, including the rented PROXY BEAST.
(e.g., in the case of a rental battle, the score is credited to the person who provided the BEAST, not to the person who actually played the battle)
There are two types of rewards for Matchup Battle:
With Matchup Lottery Tickets, players have a chance to win the following rewards:
BEAST RAWDISK NFT
TGT
Rank thresholds and the amount of lottery tickets for rewards will be adjusted accordingly to optimize the number of participants and the resources allocated.
Arena Battle is a so-called Ranked Match in which TRIALS players' own “battle victories” are evaluated as a score.
Unlike Matchup, which is a game of efficiently consuming BEAST stamina, it is purely a game of “how strong is players' battle itself” and “how efficiently they can keep winning”.
In addition, the top 20 players in the ranking will have a path to participate in the Championship, making this battle content even more important for players who invest resources.
Players can start battles as long as they have at least 1 Arena Stamina, a special stamina for Arena, and 1 Arena Stamina will be consumed for each Arena victory.
Arena Stamina can be recovered in the following ways:
*Player LV: The level of a player's game-playing experience.
With Auto Battle Laps Function, players can automatically repeat battles by consuming the Auto-Lap PT.
Auto-Lap PT can be purchased by spending Jewels.
When a battle ends, the system will automatically continue to start the next battle, and will automatically end when the following conditions are reached:
Auto-Lap PT reaches 0
Arena Stamina reaches 0
Auto-lap allows players to take their eyes off the screen and spend their time on other things.
In addition, post-release updates will allow players to play other games in the game while the auto-circuit is running in the background.
The criteria for evaluating Arena are as follows:
There are two types of rewards for Arena Battle:
With Arena Lottery Tickets, players have a chance to win the following rewards:
BEAST RAWDISK NFT
TGT
Players can participate in the Championship either as finalist competitors or prediction gamers; This page describes details about finalist competitors.
The Championship is a tournament-style battle in which only the top 20 players in the Arena Rankings can participate. It is held on the weekend after the Arena ends.
Participants will prepare their decks in advance the day before the event, and then compete with their decks until the end of the event.
The 1st to 4th places in the Arena will be seeded; They will participate from the 3rd round.
Tournament placement will be determined randomly by the seeding 1~4th places and 5~20th places respectively.
As the rewards for 20 finalist players, they will be rewarded TGTs, special a.k.a., and PLAYER ICONs based on their performance.
The a.k.a. is like a “title” that can be tied to a player and set in their profiles.
Dungeon Battles are PvE battles in which players advance through stages one by one by defeating decks organized by the TOKYO BEAST team.
Dungeons are composed of Sector > Floor > Stage. Each of them is released in the following flow:
Complete all the stages on a floor to advance to the next floor
Complete all the floors in a sector to advance to the next sector
Only one sector is released at the beginning of the game release, and the full picture will be revealed gradually.
At the same time as the next sector is released, Player LV and BEAST LV Limits will be released, and the overall game BEAST strength will increase by one level.
Dungeon Stamina is the stamina used in dungeons, and players can start a battle with at least 1 Dungeon Stamina in their possessions.
Stamina is capped at a certain amount, and losing a stage consumes 1 stamina, which is fully restored when switching dailies.
Dungeon Battles will be released in a post-release update.
When Dungeon Stamina is 0, players can start a battle by pooling their Jewels.
Pooled Jewels will remain pooled when the players win, and lottery will be held when the players lose.
There are the following three patterns of lottery results:
There are two types of dungeon rewards: Completion Reward and Fastest Completion Reward.
Completion rewards are awarded for completing each layer, and players can earn various items they can use in the game.
Fastest Completion Reward is awarded to the player who reaches the next sector the fastest among all players. The winner will receive a valuable PLAYER ICON and a.k.a.

Rental Battles
In addition to the two BEAST that exist in players' own possession slot, two BEAST that have been put into the BEAST plant by other players will be randomly organized. The player's own BEAST has no problem even if its stamina is 0, and can execute battles without stamina cost.

The Battle is one of the main activities of TRIALS. Using PROXY BEAST acquired from the gacha, players aim for the top ranking according to the evaluation criteria of each battle.
Top ranking players have the chance to win big rewards.
Due to the nature of the game, which allows betting on championships, auto-battles are adopted as a system to prevent cheating.
Auto-battle eliminates the need for in-game playing skills, making deck organization more important.
The higher players rank in Battles, the bigger rewards they will receive, such as more lottery opportunities with a certain probability of winning BEAST RAWDISK NFT and TGT.
In other words, the key is how efficiently players aim for the top ranks in battles.
As can be seen from the figure above, by spending Jewel in an effective manner, players can have other players consume BEAST Stamina for them, or they can leave the Arena in auto-loop mode, and they can use your time effectively to aim for higher positions and increase their rewards.
There are four types of functions in the battles:
In PvP, players aim to achieve high rankings in Matchup and Arena battles to earn rewards and compete for championships.
In PvE, players advance through dungeon stages to earn rewards.
At each of the battle types, players can receive the following rewards:
Jewels in battles are consumed at the following locations:

1) Matchup
As a measure of BEAST strength, battles are evaluated on how much BEAST Stamina they have provided. Matchups will be ranked according to who has provided more BEAST Stamina to the battle market and will be named at the top of the ranking.
2) Arena
Battles in which TRIALS players are evaluated on “how many victories they have accumulated” as a measure of their strength. The players' own battle literacy itself is tested. Compared to Matchup battles, it has a stronger aspect of a pure ranked match.
3) Championship
Tournament-style battles with only the top 20 finalists in Arena rankings allowed. Players can also join Championship by betting.
PvE
