Matchup is the battle mode in which the BEAST rank is determined according to the number of BEAST Stamina consumed = the number of “BEAST” victories.
Therefore, players' evaluation is based on how much BEAST Stamina they have contributed to the matchup battle, and the ranking is determined according to the amount of BEAST Stamina consumed by his or her BEAST.
In addition to running their own battles and consuming BEAST Stamina, they can also “let other players run battles for them” in order to achieve higher rankings, which is a major feature of Match-Up that is not found in other games.
Matchup consists of two game modes: "Normal Battle" and "Rental Battle."
BEAST acquired through Jewel-consuming gachas can be put into BEAST plants, allowing other players to perform BEAST stamina consumption in rental battles instead. (*Click here for more information on BEAST Plants)
BEAST Stamina consumed by a BEAST offered for a rental battle is counted as the owner's consumption, allowing the owner to efficiently earn BEAST Stamina consumption.
In many cases, players who engage in Rental Battles do not have any BEAST Stamina left in their own quota, so they first earn BEAST Gacha PT through Rental Battles.
Then, with the BEAST(Stamina 10) obtained there, players can play normal battles and get scores, thus continuing the game without purchasing Jewels.
Rental Battles are not initially released and will be released upon completion of tutorial missions and other conditions.
Daily usage conditions are also restricted, triggered by “20 stamina consumed” in daily missions, to prevent bots and other cheaters.
The criteria for evaluating Matchup is as follows:
When a BEAST wins a battle in which it participates, one BEAST Stamina is consumed and an amount equal to the consumed Stamina is added to the Matchup Score.
The MatchUp Score will be added to the “owner” of the PROXY BEAST whose Stamina was consumed, including the rented PROXY BEAST.
(e.g., in the case of a rental battle, the score is credited to the person who provided the BEAST, not to the person who actually played the battle)
There are two types of rewards for Matchup Battle:
With Matchup Lottery Tickets, players have a chance to win the following rewards:
BEAST RAWDISK NFT
TGT
Rank thresholds and the amount of lottery tickets for rewards will be adjusted accordingly to optimize the number of participants and the resources allocated.
Arena Battle is a so-called Ranked Match in which TRIALS players' own “battle victories” are evaluated as a score.
Unlike Matchup, which is a game of efficiently consuming BEAST stamina, it is purely a game of “how strong is players' battle itself” and “how efficiently they can keep winning”.
In addition, the top 20 players in the ranking will have a path to participate in the Championship, making this battle content even more important for players who invest resources.
Players can start battles as long as they have at least 1 Arena Stamina, a special stamina for Arena, and 1 Arena Stamina will be consumed for each Arena victory.
Arena Stamina can be recovered in the following ways:
*Player LV: The level of a player's game-playing experience.
With Auto Battle Laps Function, players can automatically repeat battles by consuming the Auto-Lap PT.
Auto-Lap PT can be purchased by spending Jewels.
When a battle ends, the system will automatically continue to start the next battle, and will automatically end when the following conditions are reached:
Auto-Lap PT reaches 0
Arena Stamina reaches 0
Auto-lap allows players to take their eyes off the screen and spend their time on other things.
In addition, post-release updates will allow players to play other games in the game while the auto-circuit is running in the background.
The criteria for evaluating Arena are as follows:
There are two types of rewards for Arena Battle:
With Arena Lottery Tickets, players have a chance to win the following rewards:
BEAST RAWDISK NFT
TGT
Players can participate in the Championship either as finalist competitors or prediction gamers; This page describes details about finalist competitors.
The Championship is a tournament-style battle in which only the top 20 players in the Arena Rankings can participate. It is held on the weekend after the Arena ends.
Participants will prepare their decks in advance the day before the event, and then compete with their decks until the end of the event.
The 1st to 4th places in the Arena will be seeded; They will participate from the 3rd round.
Tournament placement will be determined randomly by the seeding 1~4th places and 5~20th places respectively.
As the rewards for 20 finalist players, they will be rewarded TGTs, special a.k.a., and PLAYER ICONs based on their performance.
The a.k.a. is like a “title” that can be tied to a player and set in their profiles.
The Battle is one of the main activities of TRIALS. Using PROXY BEAST acquired from the gacha, players aim for the top ranking according to the evaluation criteria of each battle.
Top ranking players have the chance to win big rewards.
Due to the nature of the game, which allows betting on championships, auto-battles are adopted as a system to prevent cheating.
Auto-battle eliminates the need for in-game playing skills, making deck organization more important.
The higher players rank in Battles, the bigger rewards they will receive, such as more lottery opportunities with a certain probability of winning BEAST RAWDISK NFT and TGT.
In other words, the key is how efficiently players aim for the top ranks in battles.
As can be seen from the figure above, by spending Jewel in an effective manner, players can have other players consume BEAST Stamina for them, or they can leave the Arena in auto-loop mode, and they can use your time effectively to aim for higher positions and increase their rewards.
There are four types of functions in the battles:
In PvP, players aim to achieve high rankings in Matchup and Arena battles to earn rewards and compete for championships.
In PvE, players advance through dungeon stages to earn rewards.
At each of the battle types, players can receive the following rewards:
Jewels in battles are consumed at the following locations:
The BEAST Gacha is the gacha in which players can win PROXY BEAST, a copy of BEAST NFT, from the BEAST pool.
As shown in the figure below, if players spend Jewels to earn BEAST, players can let other players use their BEAST to earn match-up scores, which is an evaluation indicator for battles.
This allows players to efficiently aim for the top of the matchup rankings without spending time on their own, while at the same time allowing themselves to spend time on other battles instead, thus creating a play style that makes it easier to collect “lottery.”
In addition, in order to provide as equal an opportunity as possible to verify the strength of BEASTs in the matchups, we do not pick up specific characters, which is common in existing Web2 social games, and the ratio of BEASTs appearing in the gacha is almost evenly distributed (a slight error may occur depending on the bias in the number of BEASTs present in each rank).
The following diagram shows the BEAST acquisition flow (*both BASE and TRIALS sides) and the cycle of reflecting the results of the ranking in the battle.
The following diagram shows the BEAST acquisition flow (*both BASE and TRIALS sides) and the cycle of reflecting the results of the ranking in the battle.
When the weekly BEAST ranking is compiled, the results of the following activities will be reflected in the BEAST pool and the PROXY BEAST earned in the gacha.
PROXY BEAST can be obtained from the following types of gacha:
BEAST Stamina refers to the stamina consumed by the BEAST in a matchup.
Depending on the type of gacha, the BEAST Stamina of the PROXY BEAST that can be acquired will differ.
If a BEAST that has already been acquired is acquired again from a gacha, the number of BEAST in your possession will not be doubled. However, the BEAST Stamina of the newly acquired BEAST will be added to the BEAST Stamina of the BEAST that has already been acquired.
There is a limit to the amount of BEAST Stamina that can be added; If the limit is reached, the newly acquired BEAST will not be placed in your possession quota, but will be gifted to players.
There is a limit to the number of PROXY BEAST you can possess in TRIALS, and players can only acquire PROXY BEAST if they have not reached the maximum number of PROXY BEAST they can possess.
The following is how to free up your BEAST possession quota:
Expand the maximum number of possession slots by spending Jewels
Open the possession quota by putting BEAST into the plant
Delete BEAST
The BEAST will be given as a "Gift" if there is no room in the BEAST possession slots, or if the BEAST stamina has reached the maximum limit and no more stamina can be added.
If the gift is not received within 30 days, the BEAST will be lost, so players will need to spend Jewels to expand your possession quota before the BEAST is lost or put the BEAST into a plant or delete BEAST to open up your possession quota.
The same applies to MODs described below.
MODs are the items that can be attached to the BEAST to increase its parameters.
Players can get MOD mainly by playing Gachas.
There are three types of MOD Gachas:
MOD consists of various rarities: N<R<SR<UR, determined by the rank of MOD's main effect.
The factors that determine the MOD's specifications are as follows:
These are the slots for MODs to be used for battles.
There is a limit to the number of MODs each player can possess in TRIALS. They can only acquire MODs if they have not reached the maximum number of possession slots.
The following is how to free up MOD possession slots:
Expand the maximum number of possession slots by spending Jewels
Sell MODs to free up slots
BEAST Plant is a feature which allows players to put the BEAST they possess into the BEAST Pot. This enables players to let other players use their BEASTs in Matchup Rental Battles.
This allows other players to consume stamina on their behalf, enabling them to efficiently aim for higher rankings in battles.
There are two types of BEAST Plant:
BEAST Plant
BEAST Plant for NFT Owners
The BEAST Plant allows players to have other players consume BEAST stamina in matchups on their behalf by putting their own PROXY BEAST into the BEAST Pot.
Initially, players do not have BEAST Pots; They can purchase BEAST Pots by spending Jewels.
The input conditions for the BEAST Plant are as follows:
Once a BEAST is put into the pot, it is removed from the possession slot, and cannot be returned.
The BEAST that is put into the pot is offered for Rental Battles, and BEAST stamina is consumed when the borrowing player wins the battle.
The BEAST Stamina consumed by the donated BEAST will be scored to the original BEAST owner.
BEAST Stamina cannot be recovered, and when it reaches zero, the BEAST is automatically deleted.
Deleted BEASTs will be available for selection at PROXY BEAST Salvage.
One Plant PT is earned per BEAST. Plant PT can be used for PROXY BEAST Salvage. In addition, for each BEAST turned in, additional rewards will be drawn and a certain percentage of TRIALS CHIP will be awarded.
The NFT Owner-Owned BEAST Plant allows for the installation of a dedicated pot for use by the owner of the BEAST NFT.
Players can purchase a dedicated pot for that BEAST if their TRIALS accounts are linked to their BASE accounts and they own a PROXY BEAST in TRIALS with the same ID as his/her BEAST NFT.
The biggest difference with the BEAST Plant is that it can recover stamina.
Since stamina can be restored, the number of times a BEAST can be selected as a rental BEAST can be increased as a result.
This makes it easier to aim higher in the BEAST ranking and land a higher BEAST rank.
BEASTs with higher ranks are more likely to increase their value as NFTs.
The input conditions for the BEAST Plant for NFT Owners are as follows:
In the BEAST Plant exclusively for NFT owners, the BEAST that has been put in will not be removed from the possession quota. However, once it is put into the pot, it cannot be returned, as is the case with the BEAST plant.
The BEAST Plant for NFT owners may only be operated once per day on a daily basis.
To be activated, the BEAST Stamina must be at least 10.
BEAST put into an activated pot is offered for rental battles, and BEAST Stamina is consumed when the borrowing player wins the battle.
When the BEAST Stamina reaches 0, the BEAST is not automatically deleted, but instead the pot becomes inactive and cannot be activated until the next daily.
Consumed BEAST Stamina can be recovered by spending Jewels.
The maximum recoverable limit for each pot can be released by spending Jewels.

At the same time as the next sector is released, Player LV and BEAST LV Limits will be released, and the overall game BEAST strength will increase by one level.
Dungeon Stamina is the stamina used in dungeons, and players can start a battle with at least 1 Dungeon Stamina in their possessions.
Stamina is capped at a certain amount, and losing a stage consumes 1 stamina, which is fully restored when switching dailies.
Dungeon Battles will be released in a post-release update.
When Dungeon Stamina is 0, players can start a battle by pooling their Jewels.
Pooled Jewels will remain pooled when the players win, and lottery will be held when the players lose.
