1. Matchup Battle

Matchup is the battle mode in which the BEAST rank is determined according to the number of BEAST Stamina consumed = the number of “BEAST” victories.

Therefore, players' evaluation is based on how much BEAST Stamina they have contributed to the matchup battle, and the ranking is determined according to the amount of BEAST Stamina consumed by his or her BEAST.

In addition to running their own battles and consuming BEAST Stamina, they can also “let other players run battles for them” in order to achieve higher rankings, which is a major feature of Match-Up that is not found in other games.

"Normal Battle" and "Rental Battle"

Matchup consists of two game modes: "Normal Battle" and "Rental Battle."

Game Modes
Descriptions

Normal Battle

Only BEAST that exist in their own possession slots will be used in battle. It is necessary to organize two or more BEAST with BEAST stamina of 1 or more.

Rental Battles

In addition to the two BEAST that exist in players' own possession slot, two BEAST that have been put into the BEAST plant by other players will be randomly organized. The player's own BEAST has no problem even if its stamina is 0, and can execute battles without stamina cost.

BEAST acquired through Jewel-consuming gachas can be put into BEAST plants, allowing other players to perform BEAST stamina consumption in rental battles instead. (*Click here for more information on BEAST Plants)

BEAST Stamina consumed by a BEAST offered for a rental battle is counted as the owner's consumption, allowing the owner to efficiently earn BEAST Stamina consumption.

In many cases, players who engage in Rental Battles do not have any BEAST Stamina left in their own quota, so they first earn BEAST Gacha PT through Rental Battles.

Then, with the BEAST(Stamina 10) obtained there, players can play normal battles and get scores, thus continuing the game without purchasing Jewels.

Rental Battles are not initially released and will be released upon completion of tutorial missions and other conditions.

Daily usage conditions are also restricted, triggered by “20 stamina consumed” in daily missions, to prevent bots and other cheaters.

Matchup Evaluation Criteria

The criteria for evaluating Matchup is as follows:

Evaluation Criteria
Description

Matchup Score

An index that evaluates players by the “amount of BEAST Stamina they have provided themselves” during the weekly period. Matchup scores are reset on a weekly basis.

Matchup Ranking

Ranking of matchup scores in order of highest to lowest

Matchup Rank

Ranks awarded according to Matchup Ranking

When a BEAST wins a battle in which it participates, one BEAST Stamina is consumed and an amount equal to the consumed Stamina is added to the Matchup Score.

The MatchUp Score will be added to the “owner” of the PROXY BEAST whose Stamina was consumed, including the rented PROXY BEAST.

(e.g., in the case of a rental battle, the score is credited to the person who provided the BEAST, not to the person who actually played the battle)

Matchup Rewards

There are two types of rewards for Matchup Battle:

Reward Types

Rank thresholds and the amount of lottery tickets for rewards will be adjusted accordingly to optimize the number of participants and the resources allocated.

2. Arena

Arena Battle is a so-called Ranked Match in which TRIALS players' own “battle victories” are evaluated as a score.

Unlike Matchup, which is a game of efficiently consuming BEAST stamina, it is purely a game of “how strong is players' battle itself” and “how efficiently they can keep winning”.

In addition, the top 20 players in the ranking will have a path to participate in the Championship, making this battle content even more important for players who invest resources.

Players can start battles as long as they have at least 1 Arena Stamina, a special stamina for Arena, and 1 Arena Stamina will be consumed for each Arena victory.

Arena Stamina can be recovered in the following ways:

Recovery Methods of Stamina
Descriptions

Spontaneous Recovery

1 recovery in 30 minutes (The maximum natural recovery is 10)

Recovery with Jewels

Use 100 Jewels to recover 10 stamina

Recovery from Player LV* Increase

10 recovery per 1 LV increase

*Player LV: The level of a player's game-playing experience.

Auto Battle Laps Function

With Auto Battle Laps Function, players can automatically repeat battles by consuming the Auto-Lap PT.

Auto-Lap PT can be purchased by spending Jewels.

When a battle ends, the system will automatically continue to start the next battle, and will automatically end when the following conditions are reached:

  • Auto-Lap PT reaches 0

  • Arena Stamina reaches 0

Auto-lap allows players to take their eyes off the screen and spend their time on other things.

In addition, post-release updates will allow players to play other games in the game while the auto-circuit is running in the background.
